MEET OUR TEAM
Jeffrey Greseth comes with life long experience in agriculture. Raised in a small rural community in Minnesota working with farmers and agricultural cooperatives, he earned a degree in Agricultural Business Management from the University of MN at Waseca. He started his career at Cenex in St. Paul in Crop Production and advanced to multiple positions in supply, distribution and retail managing 52 agricultural retailers. In 1995, he became VP and GM of Imperial, INC in Hampton, IA, which was a new state of the art crop protection formulation facility. In 1997, he became the CEO at Omnium, LLC in St. Joseph, MO leading a joint venture producing agricultural products with multiple manufacturing sites in the US. In 2002, he returned to MN with Agriliance / CHS holding various leadership roles including VP of supply / trading in fertilizer working with international and US companies negotiating supply contracts. He has served on national boards including TFI and CPDA as well as given many presentations to local and national agricultural groups.
Jay Stidham graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa with a BS degree in Ag Business. Jay has worked in production agriculture for the past 35 years in seed, ag chemicals, fertilizer and industrial products. Jay spent 15 years working in Agronomy, Sales Management and trait licensing for Dow AgroSciences, was a Regional Director with CHS for 9 years, and Director of Industrial at WinField United for 2 years before joining the BlueAg team. Jay and his wife Rhonda have 2 children, Cody and Shelby and reside in Waco, TX.
Todd Smith studied Agriculture at Texas A&M University and started his career with the American Brahman Breeders Association. Several years later the desire to pursue a different angle in production agriculture led him to The Mosaic Company where he managed sales of NPK in Texas. Developing very strong customer contacts and relationships led to a change years later to the Wilbur Ellis Company where he managed all fertilizer procurement for their branches located in the South Central Region of the US. Todd makes a move to the BlueAg division of Old World Industries and looks forward to the opprtunity to introduce customers to the portfolio of products available.
Scott Vanderventer has a degree in Agricultural Economics and has spent 38 years in sales & marketing within the bulk, commodity and specialty fertilizer industries working for CF Industries, Oxbow and UlexAndes-USA. Scott has spent his career creating value for customers. “I believe successful sales begins with developing and maintaining customer relationships based on trust and integrity. Focusing on providing reliable supply, market information and sales programs is important so that customers have confidence they are making good buying decisions. It is all about creating value and profitability for both the customer and the company”. Scott, his wife Cherri and their family live near Louisville, KY.
Customer and Sales Support
Kelley Davenport has a Masters degree in Business Administration. Before joining the BlueAg team, Kelley worked with Jay and Todd at WinField United as their customer service and sales support rep for two years. Prior to that, she worked on a large onion farm in North Dakota where she was the HR and Payroll Manager and also worked with onion sales, packing schedules, and shipping. Kelley and her husband Michael live with their children in Nevada, IA.
It may seem that BlueAg cropped up out of nowhere, but our rural roots run deep.
